Farice supplies 10Gbps Link to BT to Boost Broadband Capacity to the Shetland Islands

Farice  in co-operation with the Faroese Telecom has now connected the Shetlands with a new 10Gbps link in October 2016 The news was published in ISP review recently.  The diverse backhaul from Shetland to Northern Scotland  is provided by Farice over the FARICE-1 submarine cable to Faroe Islands and extended from the Faroe Islands to the Shetlands
